The HerbstHof is situated on one of those peaceful, idyllic little hills that form the landscape lovingly referred to as the Styrian Tuscany. Instead of cypress trees, majestic poplars grow here, and rather than red wines, Southern Styria is best known for its outstanding white wines. Leutschach an der Weinstraße - unser Ort

Im Ort Leutschach an der Weinstraße befindet sich im Zentrum neben der Kirche, Gasthäusern und Cafés auch ein öffentliches Schwimmbad. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: Spar, Unimarkt, Bäckereien, Fleischhauer und für heimische Produkte und tolle Mitbringsel der Bauernladen Klapothek am Hauptplatz. Frische Milch, Eier und Nudeln in täglich geöffneten Hofläden, einen Wein-Genuss-Laden der besonderen Art am Gut Moser und bestes steirisches Kernöl sowie eine herzliche Müllerin treffen Sie in der urigen Krennmühle. Mal Bier statt Wein? Für Bierliebhaber gibt es eine eigene Leutschacher Brauerei.

Leutschach an der Weinstraße – Our Village 

In the center of Leutschach an der Weinstraße, right by the church, you’ll find cozy inns, cafés, and a public swimming pool. Shopping options include Spar, Unimarkt, local bakeries and butcher shops, as well as the Klapothek farmers’ shop on the main square – perfect for local specialties and souvenirs. Fresh milk, eggs, and pasta are available daily in nearby farm shops, and you’ll find a unique wine boutique at Gut Moser. For authentic Styrian pumpkin seed oil and a warm welcome, visit the rustic Krennmühle. Prefer beer to wine? Leutschach even has its own local brewery!

Sie vermissen die Stadt? 

Ausflüge nach Graz - Kulturhauptstadt 2003 - und in das angrenzende Slowenien nach Maribor - Kulturhaupstadt 2012 - sind einen Besuch wert. Ein schönes Ausflugsziel für Familien ist der Bärenhof Berghausen, einem kleinen liebevollen Zoo. Lustig für Alt und Jung eine Runde Minigolf - von einer Station zur nächsten gemütlich wandern, einkehren und spielen. Apropos wandern: ein Naturjuwel, die Heiligengeistklamm, einst zum schönsten Platz der Steiermark gewählt, liegt auch in Leutschach.

Missing the City? 

For a change of scenery, take a trip to Graz – European Capital of Culture 2003 – or cross the border into Maribor, Slovenia, the 2012 Capital of Culture. A great family outing nearby is the Bärenhof Berghausen, a charming little zoo.
For some fun for all ages, try Mini golf, with stations connected by a scenic walking route where you can stop, relax, and play along the way. Speaking of hiking – the Heiligengeistklamm gorge, once voted the most beautiful spot in Styria, is also located in Leutschach.

Der HerbstHof ist vom Ortskern Leutschach ca. 5 km in Richtung Slowenien entfernt. Zwei Hinweisschilder mit HerbstHof führen Sie, liebe Gäste, direkt zu uns. Nach der Einfahrt durch unser Hoftor befindet sich links neben dem Weingarten der Gästeparkplatz.

The HerbstHof is located about 5 km from the center of Leutschach, in the direction of Slovenia. Two signs marked “HerbstHof” will guide you directly to us. After passing through our gate, the guest parking area is located to the left, next to the vineyard.
